Overview
Hospital staff need the right patient information in front of them at the right time. This system for Northamptonshire NHS Trust kept patient records, diagnoses, appointments and correspondence in one place, so staff were not working across separate systems and paper files.
What we built
- Patient recordsA single record for each patient, with their details and history available to authorised staff.
- Diagnosis recordsDiagnoses recorded against the patient and visible alongside the rest of their record.
- Doctors and cliniciansClinician details held in the system and linked to the patients and appointments they are responsible for.
- GP lettersLetters to GPs produced from the patient record and kept with it.
- Medical record storageMedical documents and records stored securely and retrieved quickly when needed.
- Appointment bookingAppointments booked and managed in the same system as the patient record.
- ReportingReports for clinical and management staff, drawn from the same data.
