• Management of scanners

• Quality control and preparation of images for subsequent processing can be handled by the Scanning Station.

• Organisations may use 3rd-party scanning applications as Flexi Capture supports Hot-Folders to automate import.

Distributed Scanning / Application Servers

• The Application Server handles all processing tasks and queues automatically and distributes them among the stations according to priority and workflow settings.

• Manages interactions between stations, user rights and connections to external components

• Ensures complex processing of tasks and handles all tasks

• Only 1 Application server is allowed in a Distributed installation

• Application server and network settings limit the max. number of processing stations to 20

• Handling all processing, registration and export background operations

Distributed Scanning / Verification Stations

• Mainly used for assembly and logic errors and to handle exceptions.

• Assembling errors correction

• Group and field verification (if not completed by the Data Verification Operator)

• Rules validation

• Batch verification (checking the completeness, batch rules verification)

• Exceptions handling (passed on from the Data Verifier)

• Handling Problem documents (batches) allows return of a batch to the previous step (Data Verification)

• Export confirmation

• Scanning functionality (if Scanner attached will not control Scanning Station)

• Data can be exported to backend applications, databases or can be stored in enterprise repositories.

• Powerful export features include automated export and export to multiple destinations.
